Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to provide coverage in short-term, surge, and on-demand situations at military installations. The role emphasizes delivering comprehensive financial counseling, education, and referrals to service members and their families, in coordination with installation leadership and DoD contacts.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of financial counseling experience, U.S.

Formación

• Requires 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.
• Ability to obtain favorable Tier 2 investigation.
• Pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI).
• Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and families at military installations.
• Offer budgeting assistance and financial planning guidance for deployments and extended absences.
• Develop and disseminate educational financial materials and conduct workshops.
• Coordinate personal financial management classes and briefings across the installation.
• Utilize virtual counseling technologies and secure communication channels as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership and DoD points of contact to ensure program scope and effectiveness.
