Magellan Health is seeking an Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) to provide short-term counseling to service members and their families at military installations or DoDEA/school settings. This summer role covers May 15th–September 15th with surge/on-demand coverage as needed.

The positions require independent licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LCHMC), US citizenship, and ability to work in dynamic environments on base or at schools serving military families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work.
• Current independent licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LCHMC) required.
• US citizenship and fluency in English.
• State licensure with ability to practice independently; DoD-related requirements may apply.
• Experience in school settings or DoDEA programs is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to adults, children, and youth of service members and families.
• Deliver health and wellness trainings and parent consultations; coordinate with daycare centers and schools.
• Enter counselor activity data daily via mobile app or web portal and maintain confidentiality.
• Support MFLC services on installation and in DoD community settings, including surge and on-demand assignments.
