Magellan Health seeks an Assignment Ready Counselor to support on-demand, surge, and seasonal MFLC services for military members and families. This role covers school and youth settings, as well as community programs, with assignments from May through September.

You will provide brief, non-medical counseling, wellness trainings, and family guidance, while coordinating with POC and installation staff to ensure program fit and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current licensure at independent level in any state as a Mental Health Counselor, Therapist, or Social Worker.
• Ability to work in DoDEA/school settings and on military installations.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to adults, children and youth.
• Deliver training and health/wellness presentations and participate in base activities.
• Enter counselor activity data daily, maintain confidentiality and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate with POC and install contacts to ensure program scope and needs are met.
• Respond to critical incidents and on-demand requests as directed.
