Job summary

South Texas College is seeking a Fixed Assets and Receiving Technician to verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare items for shipment, and enter fixed assets. The role supports shipping, receiving, inventory, deliveries, mailroom and copy center, while aiding faculty and staff with surplus property moves throughout the College district.

Responsibilities include asset tagging, PO matching, and daily ERP data entry to enable three-way match.

Qualifications

• To qualify, one of the following must be met: College Certificate
• A minimum of 30 earned college hours

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Enter fixed assets into the system daily and assist with inventory.
• Prepare items for shipment and assist with moves of surplus property.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, mailroom and copy center tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with faculty and staff and support administrative duties.
• Perform duties to support central receiving and asset management across the college district.
