Job summary

Metra Commuter Rail is seeking an Asset Systems Analyst to support PTC and enterprise asset management systems, including IBM Maximo and ServiceMax. You will lead system improvements, assist end-users, and help maintain data integrity across the agency's asset management environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of equivalent experience, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 4 years of related experience in asset management or systems analysis.
• 3 years of experience with EAM systems, preferably IBM Maximo or ServiceMax.
• Knowledge of business processes and information systems in asset management.
• Familiarity with software lifecycle, testing, and UAT processes.
• Experience with organizational change management and business process documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and EAM tools; strong communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for assigned asset management and EAM systems.
• Assist in developing, testing, and deploying system solutions and upgrades.
• Coordinate user training; create training materials and job aids.
• Generate reports and maintain audit trails for change requests and tests.
