Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Manager of Development & Strategies to lead a multi-disciplinary team in shaping asset lifecycle strategies and integrated facilities planning across Walt Disney World Resort. You will guide long-term technical asset strategies to support safe, reliable, and innovative environments for Guests and Cast.

The role reports to the Senior Manager-Design Integration and requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with QA, ES, and IFP teams to

Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect or PE with Florida reciprocity.
  • 10+ years in a multi-discipline architecture/engineering or technical environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Revit, and Forma.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures for facilities, construction, and operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking to envision future possibilities and create breakthrough systems and planning strategies.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work across multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing across leadership to drive integration.
  • Strong communication to explain technical topics to executives.
  • Experience leading diverse teams in a collaborative, service-minded environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for asset lifecycle strategies across multiple facility systems.
  • Align technical roadmaps with business priorities and partner on site-wide initiatives.
  • Inform asset evaluations, scope development, and investment decisions while addressing risks.
  • Lead integration of solutions across project management, operations, and engineering.
  • Foster a collaborative culture with accountability and technical excellence.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams and leaders.
  • Connect enterprise initiatives to effective site-level execution.
