Nordstrom is seeking an Asset Protection Agent in the United States to safeguard customers, teams, and merchandise. You will partner with the store Emergency Response Team (ERT) to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies while mitigating shrinkage and preventing theft.

Responsibilities include resolving theft with sound judgment, using surveillance and RFID data, and leading audits and shrinkage awareness within the store.

Responsabilités

• Resolve theft using good judgment and conduct accurate apprehensions in high shrinkage areas.
• Identify theft trends using technology, reporting and surveillance.
• Drive shrinkage reduction through action plans and standards.
• Investigate internal theft with evidence gathering and collaboration with AP leadership.
• Use video systems to monitor activity and support investigations.
• Leverage RFID data to track merchandise movement and assist with investigations.
• Maintain safety and security of customers and staff, escalating incidents as needed.
• Lead security audits and shrinkage awareness training within the store.
• Participate in store Emergency Response Team (ERT) trainings including First Aid.
• Prepare and file prompt reports for high-profile incidents and investigations.
• Testify in court when summoned.
• Build partnerships with store leaders, retailers, and local law enforcement.
