Nordstrom Inc is seeking an Asset Protection Agent in Tigard, OR to partner with the store Emergency Response Team (ERT) and protect customers, teams and brands. The role focuses on preventing theft, safeguarding merchandise, and maintaining inventory accuracy through monitoring and investigations.

You will respond to incidents, use surveillance and RFID data, and participate in security audits and training.

Formación

• Valid security license or credential as required by location.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement.
• Experience in investigative/security procedures is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve theft by using good judgement and conducting apprehensions.
• Identify theft trends using reporting and surveillance tactics.
• Drive shrinkage reduction with action plans and merchandise protection standards.
• Investigate internal theft and gather evidence with AP leadership and investigations team.
• Use video systems and RFID data to monitor movement and support investigations.
• Maintain safety and security of customers and employees, respond to incidents, and escalate appropriately.
• Lead security audits and participate in store emergency response training (ERT).
• Prepare prompt, complete incident reports and testify in court when needed.
