Bloomingdale's in Fairfax seeks an Asset Protection Practitioner to safeguard assets and people at our location. You will apply analytics and investigative skills to deter theft, enforce AP plans, and partner with store teams to maintain a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years' experience in asset protection / loss prevention.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work with all levels of management.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of alarms, CCTV, and other security systems.
• Ability to make solid business decisions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Highly organized and a team player.
• Flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

• Leadership - facilitate AP effort, ensure store compliance with AP plans.
• Developing Partnerships - open communication with AP, store colleagues, central and corporate.
• Training and Awareness - facilitate training for staff; theft mitigation and compliance.
• Administration & Technical Skills - use reporting/data to drive shortage control programs.
• Network with retailers, local law enforcement, mall management, and legal counsel.
• Provide a safe environment for customers and colleagues; enforce safety programs.
• Drive improvements with store safety, shortage and audit metrics.
