Bloomingdale's is seeking an Asset Protection Practitioner to safeguard assets and people in our Merrifield location. You will use analytics and investigative skills to reduce shrink and protect property, while maintaining professional standards across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years in asset protection or loss prevention.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Knowledge of alarms, CCTV systems, and EAS.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead store AP efforts and shortage reduction initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with AP and store colleagues, central and corporate teams.
• Facilitate training and awareness on shortage and theft mitigation.
• Utilize reporting and data to drive control programs and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with external partners and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
• Drive improvements in store safety and shrinkage metrics.
