Job summary

Belk is seeking an Asset Protection Associate in Savannah, GA to help reduce shortages and prevent internal and external AP incidents. You will lead policy execution, support investigations, and coordinate with store leadership and local law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Ability to use data and judgement to support decisions.

• Experience in asset protection or retail security preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership in achieving goals and daily priorities.
• Monitor store activity to identify theft, fraud, and dishonesty.
• Assist with investigations and document all incidents per procedures.
• Support leadership with reviewing documentation used in investigations.
• Build relationships with local law enforcement for case resolution.
• Educate store team on asset protection and safety programs.
• Report outages, risks, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Utilize training tools and stay informed on policies and events.
• Uphold Asset Protection values and contribute to teamwork and accountability.
