The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance across assigned stores. Key responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing tools to minimize loss, such as identifying theft and fraud incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, and auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems.
2. Driving a shrink elimination culture within the store.
3. Preparing accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, and interacting with law enforcement, including testifying in court.
4. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
5. Carrying out job responsibilities safely, minimizing injury risks to oneself and others.
6. Demonstrating integrity and responding to asset protection and operational concerns while supporting store business objectives.
