Position Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing tools to minimize loss, such as identifying theft and fraud incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture.
2. Preparing accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
3. Reporting hazardous conditions and promoting safety to minimize injury risks.
4. Demonstrating integrity, addressing asset protection concerns, and focusing on store business objectives while supporting operational responsibilities.
