The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or stores. Key responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing tools to minimize loss, such as identifying theft and fraud incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture.
2. Preparing detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
3. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carrying out responsibilities safely to minimize injury risks.
4. Demonstrating integrity, responding to asset protection concerns, and supporting store-specific business objectives while maintaining operational responsibilities.
