Job summary

Sephora in Austin, TX is seeking an Asset Protection Partner to safeguard assets and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for clients and staff. You will work with store leaders to implement safety and shrink strategies, monitor activity, and handle incidents with professionalism.

The role requires 75–80% on the selling floor to deter theft and assist customers, plus collaboration with leadership to reduce shrink.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
• Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
• Conflict de-escalation skills.
• Comfortable with CCTV and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and awareness; lead or join meetings and training to reinforce safety protocols.
• Spend 75–80% on the selling floor to deter theft and support service.
• Collaborate with managers to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
• Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
• De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and customer experience.
• Complete audits and prepare reports for asset protection efforts.
• Adhere to asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
• Support multiple locations as needed; represent Sephora when required.
