This exempt role reports to the Vice President of Member Solutions & Asset Protection and requires 5–8 years in collections or asset protection, a BS/BA, and proven leadership in a financial services

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of progressively responsible experience in collections, asset protection, loss mitigation, recovery, bankruptcies, foreclosures, repossessions, workouts, or related financial services operations.
• Experience in managing employees, department performance, and a diverse lending portfolio is required.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies affecting collections, recovery, servicing, and asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily operations of the Member Solutions and Asset Protection Departments, overseeing collections, hardship assistance, loss mitigation, recoveries, bankruptcies, foreclosures, repossessions, collateral protection, and related activities.
• Leads and develops the team by hiring, coaching, and motivating employees to achieve goals and performance expectations.
• Maintains knowledge of laws and regulations; ensures compliant practices; communicates portfolio trends and risks to leadership.
• Develops, monitors, and reports on key metrics; enhances dashboards and tools to provide actionable insights.
• Performs other duties and supports strategic projects as needed.
