Job summary

Fred Meyer, part of The Kroger Company, operates over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. We seek a part-time asset protection professional to prevent loss, reduce cash over/short and civil liabilities while upholding safety and corporate policies.

You will help uphold our core values and support efforts to deter theft, monitor shrink areas, and report incidents to the asset protection manager. A strong focus on confidentiality, accuracy, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or security roles.
• Knowledge of store policies, procedures and organizational structure.
• Experience in retail security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug test and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and reduce loss due to bad debt, cash over/short and civil liabilities.
• Reduce shrink and improve margins while adhering to corporate policies and laws.
• Monitor large shrink areas and report incidents to the asset protection manager.
