Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required or preferred.
• CPR and OC certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Prior loss prevention experience is preferred (2–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations.
• Maintain professional relationships with local authorities and law enforcement.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other retailers to identify organized retail crime threats.
• Assist leadership with cash handling and transfers.
• Observe customers and associates for potential theft or fraud.
• Take appropriate action to prevent theft and apprehend suspects when prevention fails.
• Conduct surveillance and interviews as required by security protocols.
• Maintain records of apprehensions and investigations.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of CCTV equipment and procedures.
• Support store policies on theft deterrence, safety, and controls.
• Maintain high visible deterrence to crime and assist with inventory controls.
