Job summary

Belk in Frisco, TX is seeking an Asset Protection Lead to drive shortage reduction and protect profitability. You will lead process improvements, ensure policy compliance, and serve as a change agent within the store team.

This hourly role demands a proactive mindset, the ability to train staff on AP programs, coordinate with local law enforcement when needed, and maintain confidentiality while adapting to changing business needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in retail or AP with strong customer service focus.
• Experience handling loss prevention incidents and investigations.
• Comfort with technology and data-driven decision making.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own store objectives and key metrics with accountability.
• Identify and prevent theft, fraud, and dishonesty; follow policies.
• Assist with retail crime incidents and document outcomes.
• Lead awareness training, data security, and AP systems usage.
• Communicate daily goals and model knowledge-sharing.
• Onboard staff and support ongoing AP training.
