JCPenney in Indianapolis is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to observe activities, collect evidence, and report incidents. You will follow AP Directives, support store leadership, and assist with safety and incident investigations.

Travel to stores as needed and coordinate with local law enforcement when required. The role requires 1+ years in retail loss prevention or security, a HS diploma, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ years retail work experience required or preferred in asset protection.
• High School diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred in CJ or business.

Responsabilités

• Observe activities to detect theft or fraud and collect evidence.
• Execute investigation routines and document all stages.
• Conduct external interviews with customers and contractors suspected of theft.
• Report suspected fraud and policy infractions to AP/store leadership.
• Create and manage records for apprehension, statements, and evidence.
• Collect evidence and monitor associate activity during investigations.
• Identify potential theft acts by observing activity and referrals.
• Investigate suspicious behavior and document findings.
• Attend court hearings when required and liaise with law enforcement.
• Travel to stores as needed and analyze intelligence on booster groups.
