Nordstrom in the United States is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to help keep customers, teams, and brands safe. You will work with the store ERT, investigate theft, and implement procedures to reduce shrinkage while ensuring merchandise is available for customers.

The role requires quick decision-making, strong communication, and a commitment to confidentiality. You will participate in security audits, training, and cross-functional collaborations across the store.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve theft by using good judgment and conducting valid apprehensions in high shrinkage areas, following policy and AP guidance.
• Identify theft trends by leveraging technology, reporting, and surveillance tactics.
• Drive shrinkage reduction by implementing action plans and merchandise protection standards.
• Identify, investigate, and support internal theft investigations using reports and surveillance systems.
• Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and collaborating with AP Leadership and Investigation teams.
• Use video systems to monitor theft activity and support investigations.
• Leverage RFID data to track merchandise movement and aid item-level investigations.
• Maintain safety and security of customers and employees; respond to incidents and escalate as needed.
• Lead shrinkage awareness training and security audits; collaborate with store leadership and local law enforcement.
• Serve as a member of the store Emergency Response Team (ERT) and participate in safety training.
• Prepare and submit reports for high-profile incidents, recoveries, investigations, and policy violations.
• Testify in court when summoned for criminal/civil cases.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.
