Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an on-site Manager, AP & EHS for the Supply Chain DC to lead safety and security for team members, visitors, and vendors. You will manage a 6-7 person team and drive loss prevention, incident investigations, and safety program execution.

You will partner with DC leadership, oversee audits, hazmat and business continuity plans, train staff, and report findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• This onsite DC role reports to the Regional Sr. EHS/AP Manager.
• Strong problem solving in potentially high-stress situations.
• Knowledge of federal, state OSHA regulations and multi-state practices.
• Experience with loss control strategies, investigations and paperwork.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data reporting.
• 5–8+ years of asset protection experience.
• Retail or distribution center background preferred.
• 2 years of managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–7 direct reports and develop loss control strategies.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, shrink, security threats and near misses.
• Improve safety, security, and inventory accuracy within the DC.
• Coordinate hazmat, fire safety, and business continuity plans.
• Audit compliance and conduct safety training for staff.
• Manage CCTV and Access Control Systems oversight.
• Present audit findings and loss trends to leadership.
• Build relationships with local law enforcement and healthcare partners.
