Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks an experienced Manager, AP & EHS to lead asset protection and safety initiatives within the distribution center in Gastonia, NC. You will manage a team of 6-7, drive loss prevention, and coordinate safety programs across the DC environment.

The role requires strong leadership, incident investigation capabilities, and the ability to train staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with company policies and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of federal, state OSHA regulations and procedures across multiple states.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to manage 6-7 direct reports.
• Excellent communication skills for communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to influence, train, and develop others in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain partnerships with DC leadership, CSC and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and train 6-7 direct reports.
• Develop site-specific loss control strategies to prevent hazards and losses in the DC.
• Investigate incidents including injuries, shrink, security threats, and near misses; implement corrective measures.
• Proficiency in the DC’s WMS and understanding of DC operations.
