Job summary

Cascades is seeking an Asset Owner at our Wagram, NC facility to lead daily production operations and drive continuous improvement within a Lean framework. You will coach operators, manage daily action plans, and collaborate across teams to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the role emphasizes DRS/CIL processes, on-shift planning, and developing operators while supporting audits and health & safety training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience with a history of team development and people-focused strategies.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with Lean principles and able to address production challenges and optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage the production team using a servant-leadership approach; coach employees and build a collaborative floor presence.
• Drive a safety-first culture, performing audits and maintaining a clean, orderly, compliant work environment.
• Facilitate effective Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 meetings and support planning to ensure 24-hour operational readiness.
• Ensure documentation, SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
• Coach and mentor employees, support training plans, and promote continuous improvement, capturing CI actions.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve daily issues, support workflow efficiency, and improve equipment performance (OEE).
• Support production standards and audits (HACCP, SQF) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate rigor, initiative, and strong problem-solving across daily operations.
