Cascades in Wagram, NC is seeking a Reliability Lead to oversee mechanical and electrical integrity of our equipment in the Converting division. You will drive planned work, develop defect-handling processes, and lead a team to prevent breakdowns while coordinating with maintenance to prioritize activities.

The role emphasizes safety culture, lean principles, and KPI-driven performance, with expectations to coach teams and improve overall equipment effectiveness in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Proficiency in maintenance processes and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mechanical and electrical integrity of owned equipment, driving planned work to prevent breakdowns.
• Develop and implement standardized defect handling processes and tools.
• Oversee operators to ensure proper defect handling and support problem solving to prevent breakdowns.
• Define and execute standards for Breakdown Elimination (BDE) and report status in team meetings.
• Monitor repair paths, schedule maintenance activities, and coordinate with maintenance for area priorities.
