Job summary

Community Roots Housing in Seattle seeks an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties, ensuring mission alignment, financial health and physical sustainability. You will work with the VP and analysts to guide strategic decisions and maintain rigorous oversight.

The role requires strong financial analysis, asset management experience, and proficiency with MRI Investment Central and RealPage. Hybrid work in Seattle with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, urban planning, business administration or related field.
• Five years’ experience in financial analysis, asset management or related work.
• Ability to learn and use MRI Investment Central, RealPage and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute strategic decisions for a portfolio of properties to ensure mission fit and financial health.
• Develop asset management plans to improve financial performance and sustainability.
• Collaborate with property management, leasing and compliance teams to optimize operations.
• Monitor regulatory agreements, tax credit compliance and loan provisions using IC database.
• Support annual capital and property budgets and address capital needs with relevant teams.
• Assist with LIHTC accounts, investor exits, and related reporting as needed.
• Provide staff support to the Asset Management Committee when required.
