About the Role:

GF Properties Group is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a regional portfolio of mixed-use, multifamily, and development assets. This role plays a critical part in maximizing asset performance through hands‑on financial analysis, project oversight, construction and property management coordination, and strategic investment execution.

The Asset Manager partners closely with internal portfolio, property management, and construction teams, while also supporting special projects and national portfolio initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize performance across a portfolio of mixed‑use, multifamily, and development properties
  • Support asset management, property management, and construction management functions
  • Lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
  • Oversee project management activities, including schedules, contracts, and cost controls
  • Participate in contract negotiations, leasing coordination, and operational strategy
  • Prepare written investment memoranda and present recommendations to leadership
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and support special initiatives across the national portfolio
  • Monitor market conditions, development risks, and portfolio‑level performance metrics
Required Qualifications
  • Education & Experience (one of the following):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field plus 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate or a related industry with project management experience
  • OR Master’s degree in a related field plus 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate with project management experience
  • Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years in asset management, portfolio management, construction management, or acquisitions within a real estate investment, management, or development firm
  • Demonstrated familiarity with legal, marketing, planning, and entitlement issues related to real estate development
  • Strong understanding of commercial leasing, operations, and property management
  • Technical & Professional Skills:
  • Advanced financial analysis and accounting capabilities
  • Ability to prepare clear, persuasive investment recommendation reports and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Fluency in the “vocabulary of investment,” including core principles, metrics, and valuation concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision‑making skills
  • Effective public speaking, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and professional discretion
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable under Growth Fund vehicle policy
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screening
  • Preference given to enrolled and qualified Native American candidates
