Job summary

City of Burlington, Vermont is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to lead the City’s asset management program, establishing CMMS/EAM and GIS workflows, training staff, and coordinating with asset managers and GIS users.

You will develop data standards, oversee condition assessments, manage reports for leadership, and help shape a multi-year capital plan while fostering an organization-wide asset management culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, environmental science, civil engineering, public administration, urban/regional planning, accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with asset management programs or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with or ability to manage CMMS/EAM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the City’s General Fund Asset Management Program, including long-term strategic planning and implementation of the Asset Management Plan.
• Coordinate asset investments with enterprise utility asset management programs.
• Develop and maintain asset data standards and data-quality requirements.
