Job summary

The role manages tagging, system entries, reconciliations, and coordination with finance, procurement, and IT to ensure operational readiness.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, policy development, budget monitoring, and ensuring compliance with asset management controls. Telework possibilities exist, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management, inventory control, property management, logistics, procurement, warehouse operations, accounting controls, or a closely related operational function.
• Experience leading or supervising employees, projects, or operational work activities.
• Experience using automated business systems and spreadsheets to maintain records, reconcile data, analyze results, or prepare management reports.
• Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, laws, rules, or internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manages statewide asset inventory and acquisition activities across the asset lifecycle.
• Develops work schedules, priorities, and standards for scanning and inventory activities.
• Coordinates with Finance, Procurement, IT, Facilities, and program areas to support readiness.
