Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Disposals Manager II to lead the Asset Management Office, oversee disposals and surplus processes, and ensure asset data integrity across CAPPS and Radiant systems in Austin.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, asset lifecycle expertise, and the ability to coordinate with statewide coordinators and stakeholders on policy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years in asset management, inventory control, or disposal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily asset management office operations and staff workloads.
• Provide weekly productivity reports and ensure objectives are met.
• Ensure accuracy of asset records across CAPPS and Radiant systems.
• Oversee asset disposal processes in compliance with laws and internal policies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement program improvements.
• Lead ongoing inventory efforts and reconcile asset data across systems.
