Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin, TX seeks an Asset Acquisitions Manager to oversee statewide asset inventory and acquisition operations. The role drives asset lifecycle activities, coordinates with internal teams, and leads a staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Salary is posted as range per month, with travel up to 30%. This exempt, full-time position may include telework; Houston-based experience is not required. Location is Austin, Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management, inventory control, procurement or related operations.
• Experience leading or supervising employees or projects.
• Experience using automated systems and spreadsheets for records and reports.
• Experience interpreting policies and controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage statewide asset inventory and acquisition activities across asset lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of asset records in CAPPS, SPA, VAT.
• Lead staff, training, performance management.
• Monitor compliance and perform reconciliations and investigations.
