Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Project Manager I to lead asset management initiatives in the Asset Management Office. This role coordinates with RAS, state hospitals, and other agencies to implement the VAT inventory system and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

You will train statewide coordinators, provide SME support for VAT RFID system, and prepare reports on asset measures.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management or inventory control.
• Experience in computer use and related software.
• Experience in managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule.
• Coordinates asset management tasks statewide and provides training.
• Analyzes inventory system risks and recommends improvements.
• Prepares asset management reports and tracks key measures.
• Plans and conducts trainings for asset management program duties.
• Reviews and develops asset management policies and procedures.
• Performs inventory, tagging, and updating asset records.
• Acts as SME and assists internal and external program areas.
