Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8-12 engineers and database administrators. The role oversees planning, maintenance forecasting, asset health monitoring, and compliance across transmission and distribution systems, collaborating with operations, design, and regulatory groups.

You will mentor staff, shape asset health goals, manage projects and contracts, and represent the company in regulatory proceedings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; seven to nine years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Master's degree preferred and beneficial for advancement.
• Experience leading engineering projects and teams in utility/transmission contexts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise engineering staff in transmission and distribution projects.
• Manage capital project development and long-range planning for assets.
• Oversee contracts and compliance for projects, services, materials, and equipment.
• Provide input on scheduling and system reliability alongside operations.
• Mentor staff and drive professional development and performance.
