Job summary

BSFR Property Management LLC in Charleston, SC seeks an Associate, Asset Management to oversee performance of the SFR portfolio and coordinate with Investments, Property Management, Leasing, Construction, and Finance.

You will conduct financial analysis, build investment models for hold/sell decisions, support dispositions, and prepare performance updates for leadership while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in real estate, finance, business, or accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in real estate, portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions, or investment banking.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight: monitor the execution of business plans for multiple investment vehicles within our SFR portfolio.
• Dispositions Strategy: support the execution of dispositions strategies across portfolios to maximize returns.
• Financial Analysis & Performance Optimization: conduct ongoing financial analysis (hold/sell decisions, leasing strategies, capex) to identify value.
• Investment Modeling: develop advanced financial models to assess impact of strategies on fund performance.
• Investment Updates: prepare and deliver presentations to leadership on investment performance.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: partner with Investments, Property Management, Leasing, Construction, and accounting/FP&A to refine strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.
