Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly performance reporting vs. investment expectations; identify upside levers and risk items
• Review/spread property financials and validate key operating KPIs
• Compile monthly actionable asset reports and drive follow-through with operators
• Support the annual budget process (spreading budgets, growth assumptions, and annual planning meetings)
• Own day-to-day portfolio management and communication with third-party property managers
• Underwrite and prepare asset management committee memos for expansion, conversion, and value-add initiatives
• Support acquisition-to-AM transitions for newly acquired assets
• Assist with acquisition/disposition due diligence and ongoing asset-level analysis
• Handle information requests from lenders, insurers, and property managers
• Manage AM functions for an assigned regional portfolio; support ad hoc analyses as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Prior experience in real estate, investments, asset management, operations, or finance
• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts; strong modeling hygiene)
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to spot patterns and improvement opportunities in data
• Highly detail-oriented; accuracy-focused while managing deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable influencing third parties
• Self-starter who thrives in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment
