Job summary

Shine Associates, LLC is seeking an Asset Management Analyst in Dallas, TX to support a diversified portfolio of properties. You will assist in reviewing operating performance, building and executing business plans, and driving long-term value for the portfolio.

The role requires strong Excel/ARGUS skills, experience with real estate finance, and the ability to work with AI-enabled tools to identify trends, prepare reports for the executive team, and support investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics or Accounting.
• 2–5 years of real estate experience; financial modeling preferred.
• Proficient in Excel models; Argus, PowerPoint required.
• Familiar with PowerBI; VBA a plus.
• Experience with AI tools and LLMs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of a multifamily portfolio; develop performance models.
• Manage valuations of properties and review reports.
• Prepare periodic reports for executive committee and partners.
• Develop annual business plans and capital programs.
• Conduct market research: rent comps, new supply, trends.
• Produce property-level reporting: quarterly fund reports, investor reports.
• Utilize AI tools to identify trends and insights.
• Collaborate with Asset Managers on investment decisions.
• Support pricing decisions in revenue management calls.
• Participate in ad hoc analytical projects.
