The role is based at our Dallas corporate office and involves working with asset managers across office and industrial properties nationwide.

The candidate will perform financial modeling in Argus and Excel, prepare budgets, track performance, and collaborate closely with property management teams.

Qualifications

• BBA in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or Accounting.
• 1-4 years of experience as an Analyst in CRE Asset Management or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and collaboration skills.

Job description

L&B Realty Advisors, LLP, is currently looking for an Analyst in Asset Management to assist in developing, implementing and monitoring all aspects of real estate investment strategies and processes to ensure that investment performance and positions are appropriate for the client. This position is located at our corporate office in Dallas, TX.

Position will be responsible for the following:

• Work closely with asset manager on the oversight of institutional quality office and industrial assets located in primary and secondary markets across the country
• Prepare annual budgets and business plans with asset/property management teams to establish value enhancing strategic goals and objectives
• Oversee the implementation of strategic goals with local third-party property management
• Participating in periodic leasing and property management calls
• Monitoring leasing and capital market conditions for assigned assets
• Review of property reports for accuracy and variances from budgets
• Review, edit, or write narratives for monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
• Perform ARGUS and Excel based real estate cash flow modeling
• Prepare valuations of office and industrial real estate assets using the cost approach, income approach, (direct capitalization approach) and sales comparison analysis
• Conduct comprehensive market research to inform decision making
• Create, implement, and maintain various tracking criteria related to property operations and performance
• Assist asset manager in conducting property inspections – light travel necessary
• Assist in property due diligence for acquisitions
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

• BBA in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
• 1-4 years of experience working as an Analyst in CRE Asset Management or a related position (Acquisitions, Property Management, Leasing, Portfolio Management etc.)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Strong initiative to proactively solve problems independently and improve processes
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn CRE concepts, grow and contribute to the team
• A desire to cross train across other real estate asset classes such as multifamily
• Familiarity with AI software
• Detail oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling using Argus and Excel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word & Excel
• Strong capacity to learn new and evolving software
