Laseter Development Group (“LDG”) is a newly formed, vertically integrated Built-to-Rent (“BTR”) developer, one of the first of its kind in the sector. Job Summary:
LDG is seeking a dedicated and analytical Asset Management Analyst/Associate to join our Atlanta-based team. This role will support the asset management team by maintaining and optimizing property performance, developing detailed financial reports, and assisting with project management for select initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proforma Updates: Conduct periodic updates and reforecasts of property proformas, incorporating actual leasing, operational, and development activity data.
- Reporting: Compile detailed reports for senior asset management and executive leadership, including lease-up tracking, financial performance, cost-to-complete summaries, and cash flow projections.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate and interpret performance trends across the portfolio, focusing on floor plan efficiency, amenity utilization, and property management performance.
- Budget Coordination: Coordinate the annual operating and budgeting processes in partnership with property management teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Assist senior asset management team members with special analyses to support value-add initiatives, strategy modifications, and Operating Committee reports.
- Project Leadership: Potential to lead cross-functional project teams for smaller, high-impact projects within the portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate investment management, private equity, or investment banking, with direct asset management and build-to-rent experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, display a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and sound decision making, all with minimum oversight and while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
