Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods, headquartered in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking an Asset & Maintenance Supervisor for Warehouse Shipping on 1st shift. The role leads mechanics, ensures maintenance, safety, and reliability of a high-volume warehouse, and coordinates with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has journeyman-level mechanical expertise and proven supervisory experience, with knowledge of MHE, SOPs/JSAs, and ERP systems. The position is full-time, on-site, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have journeyman-level mechanical/technical expertise in warehouse or industrial environments.
• Minimum 2 years in a lead/supervisory role overseeing mechanics/technicians.
• Strong knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse systems required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanics and participate in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Prioritize work with warehouse leadership and communicate downtime/reliability timelines.
• Create and close maintenance work orders with accurate labor and parts data in JDE.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and JSAs for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate repairs with internal teams and external vendors.
• Maintain assets including forklifts, dock equipment, and facility systems.
• Ensure safety standards, training, and performance expectations are met.
• Support capital projects and cost control related to maintenance.
