Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods, a Bakersfield-based leader in carrot production, seeks a 2nd shift Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound shipping, ensure accuracy of orders, and manage a team of 40+ employees. You will enforce GMPs, SOPs, and safety guidelines while optimizing warehouse operations and reporting to the Manager.

Requirements include High School/GED or 3-5 years in warehouse/inventory control, forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days), and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or 3-5 years’ experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Clean driving record and background check as part of company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound/outbound shipping activities for quality, accuracy, and completeness of shipments.
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, and inspection ready daily.
• Direct and supervise a crew of up to 40+ employees and track attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Enforce and adhere to company policies and SOPs, GMPs and safety guidelines.
• Manage workflow to maximize productivity, safety, and efficiency; assign orders to loaders by priority.
• Inspect and audit inbound/outbound orders for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead shift start-up meetings and departmental meetings.
• Identify warehouse system improvements and contribute to problem solving.
• Ensure accuracy of all orders and coordinate with management.
