Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking an Equipment Operator I to support daily plant production in the Natural Ingredients facility. You will coordinate with supervisors and inventory managers to load/unload trailers and perform production tasks.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a safe driving record, and the ability to operate and assist with a range of plant equipment. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related field experience.
• Clean driving record; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material flow and instruments including temperature/pressure gauges.
• Set or adjust machine controls to regulate flow, temperature and pressure.
• Weigh or measure materials for refining and processing.
• Unload and prepare ingredients for daily processing.
• Complete changeovers, CIP, cleaning and sanitizing tools/equipment.
• Operate equipment including TA, Filler Room, CIP, Evaporators, Koch and Mondo.
• Assist onboarding of new employees in Natural Ingredients.
• Perform production plant cleanup.
