Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods, headquartered in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking an Asset & Maintenance Supervisor for its high-volume warehouse. You will lead a team of mechanics, perform hands-on maintenance, and drive reliability and safety across operations.

The role requires journeyman-level skills, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of MHE and ERP systems. You’ll develop SOPs/JSAs, coordinate repairs, and ensure uptime to meet shipping requirements. 1st shift, full-time, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level mechanical/technical expertise in warehouse/distribution/industrial environments.
• Experience supervising skilled trades employees and setting performance expectations.
• Strong knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse systems.
• Ability to establish job standards, times, and measurable benchmarks.
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and JSAs.
• Ability to train employees on SOPs/JSAs and enforce safe practices.
• Proficiency with technical manuals/schematics and MS Office.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanics while performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Prioritize maintenance work based on warehouse impact and communicate status.
• Manage maintenance requests via SharePoint and document work orders in JDE.
• Coordinate repairs with internal teams and external vendors.
• Develop standardized maintenance processes and SOPs/JSAs.
• Maintain and support warehouse assets and safety infrastructure.
• Support capital projects and cost-control for repairs and parts.
• Train and develop mechanics for technical capability and safety.
