Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking an Asset Maintenance Tech III to perform advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, supervise inventory, and mentor junior technicians. The role requires diagnostics, documentation, and occasional field pickups/deliveries.

The successful candidate will lead maintenance efforts, manage work orders, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Welding experience preferred; knowledge of cutting torch and plasma cutter.
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in the rental/pump industry preferred.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.
• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and adjustments.
• Inspect equipment for QA and document check sheets.
• Manage work orders, recording parts, labor, and related items.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance procedures.
• Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
• Deliver and/or pick up berms from customers.

About the Job:The Asset Maintenance Tech III plays a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment. This position handles more complex repairs, manages inventory, and mentors less experienced team members.
