Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking an Asset Maintenance Tech II in Salt Lake City, UT. You will perform complex mechanical/electrical repairs on rental equipment, lead inventory control, and mentor junior technicians, while occasionally delivering or picking up equipment from customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or related field.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in the rental/pump industry strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.
• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.
• Inspect equipment for quality assurance and ensure accurate documentation of check sheets.
• Manage work orders, recording all parts, labor, and related items.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
• Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations
• Delivers and/or picks up berms from customers.
• Other duties as assigned

About The Job

The Asset Maintenance Tech II plays a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment. This position handles more complex repairs, manages inventory, and mentors less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.


• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.
