Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions seeks a Pump Technician in Texas to service field units, perform on-site repairs, and manage equipment maintenance. You will travel to customer locations, troubleshoot pumps and hoses, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field and follow safety protocols.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Must obtain MEC and forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in rental/pump industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform on-site repairs and maintenance of Ironclad Environmental Solutions equipment.
• Open locks/doors, perform minor mechanical repairs, and evaluate pumps/hoses.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
• Document work performed, parts used, and any additional repairs needed.
• Assist with yard operations: cleaning, repairing rental equipment, and related tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

About the Job:As a Pump Technician at Ironclad Environmental Solutions, your primary focus will be to ensure that our units in the field and inventory are in optimal operating condition. This includes driving to customer locations to perform repairs and maintenance, as well as handling advanced repairs on returned units.This is a safety-sensitive role that requires strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards.Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.Key Responsibilities:Field Repairs:Travel to customer locations to maintain and repair Ironclad Environmental Solutions equipment on-site, including tasks such as:Opening locks/doorsPerforming minor mechanical repairsEvaluating and repairing pumps and hosesSetting up and disassembling equipmentPressure washing and cleaningLabeling, managing inventory, and documenting repairsLoading/unloading equipmentGeneral housekeeping and conducting site safety assessmentsYard Assistance:Support yard operations by:Cleaning and repairing rental equipment to ensure it is rental-readyPerforming minor welding, electrical work, and pump repairsCleaning tanks, repairing berms, and handling other yard tasksDocumenting completed work and updating maintenance recordsRotating Equipment:Disassemble, evaluate, and repair rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and gearboxesTroubleshoot mechanical issues and replace defective parts as neededDocumentation and Safety:Accurately document work performed, parts used, and any additional repairs neededFollow all company safety protocols and maintain a safe work environmentProvide assistance to other mechanics and departments when necessaryThis is a safety-sensitive role that requires strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards.Equipment Used:• Mechanic tools (hand and power tools)• Truck for on-site visits and equipment transport• Welding/soldering equipment• Telephone and radio equipment for communication• Forklift for moving heavy units within the yardWhy Join Us:• Monday to Friday schedule• 10 paid holidays annually• Competitive salary including overtime• Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match)• Opportunities for career growth and developmentAt Ironclad Environmental Solutions, you can build a rewarding career and provide exceptional service in the process.
