Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking an Asset Maintenance Tech I to service, maintain, and repair rental equipment. You will handle complex repairs, manage inventory, and mentor junior technicians.

This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years of related experience, forklift certification within 90 days, valid driver’s license, and familiarity with welding or cutting tools. Occasional field pickups/deliveries and overtime are included.

About The Job

The Asset Maintenance Tech I plays a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment. This position handles more complex repairs, manages inventory, and mentors less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.
• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.
• Inspect equipment for quality assurance and ensure accurate documentation of check sheets.
• Manage work orders, recording all parts, labor, and related items.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
• Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations
• Delivers and/or picks up berms from customers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or a related field
• Proven experience with inventory control and cycle counts
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required
• 2-5 years of welding experience is preferred / Knowledge or previous experience with cutting torch and plasma cutter
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in the rental/pump industry strongly preferred
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
