Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of mobile assets across the organization, ensuring equipment is available, compliant, and optimized to support operational efficiency across multiple sites.

You will coordinate procurement, vendor relationships, track asset utilization, depreciation, and lifecycle costs, and partner with Operations, Fleet, Finance, and Safety teams to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in asset management, fleet management, operations, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance programs, and compliance.
• Experience using asset management or fleet tracking systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently to support multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full lifecycle of mobile assets from acquisition through retirement.
• Coordinating procurement, vendor relationships, and contract terms for equipment.
• Tracking asset utilization, performance, location, warranty, and depreciation.
• Optimizing asset availability and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Partnering with Operations, Fleet, Finance, and Safety teams to support business needs.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and reporting on asset performance and lifecycle costs.
• Supporting process improvements and special projects related to asset sustainability and efficiency.
