Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an Asset Inventory Technician to support accurate identification, tracking, and control of BOP equipment across shops, yards, warehouses, and field locations. The role involves hands-on asset verification, tagging, data entry, and reconciliation with system data.

Under supervision, you will ensure proper tagging, documentation, and transfer records, while coordinating with operations, maintenance, quality, and finance to maintain reliable asset records and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• 1+ years in inventory control, asset tracking, or related industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to read and record asset identifiers clearly.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with asset-management software.

Responsibilities

• Travel to shops, yards, warehouses, and field locations to verify assets.
• Scan barcodes/RFID tags and log asset data in the system.
• Print, apply, and replace asset tags per standards.
• Create and update asset records from source documents.
• Perform cycle counts and audits; document variances.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records for audit readiness.
