Job summary

Harford County Sheriff's Office is seeking a part-time Temporary Inventory Specialist in Bel Air, MD to manage the agency's property inventory, maintain asset records, and affix inventory tags as appropriate.

Responsibilities include coordinating physical inventories, reconciling records, overseeing inter‑agency transfers and disposals, and drafting guidance on property accounting and reutilization. Strong organization and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Access are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years in property or inventory management.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property records and affix inventory tags as appropriate.
• Coordinate and initiate physical inventories; reconcile inventories with records.
• Oversee inter-agency transfers, dispositions and surplus; monitor asset procurement.
