Job summary

Baltimore County in Towson seeks a warehouse support role under general supervision to assist in receipt, storage and issuance of stock, tools, and supplies across the agency.

You will maintain inventory records, perform counts, reconcile procurement cards, and manage related files; occasional vehicle deliveries are required. A high school diploma is required, plus two years of warehousing experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' storekeeping and warehousing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues a wide variety of stock equipment, tools, materials, and supplies.
• Packages materials for distribution within the agency according to various schedules and allocations.
• Uses computer to maintain inventory accounting records of materials received and issued.
• Takes periodic inventory of stock on hand.
• Reconciles procurement card statements.
• Maintains related records and files.
• Verifies fixed assets inventory.
• Adds and deletes items in database and corrects errors
• Drives van truck to deliver or pick up materials and supplies.
• Makes minor repairs to automotive and/or custodial equipment.
• Assists in the set up or take down for events.
• Performs other related duties as required.
